DiGiorno Cheese Stuffed Crust

We're launching our pizza blog with DiGiorno's Cheese Stuffed Crust pizza, Five Cheese style. We've got to say, it's not off to a great start.

First, you should know, our family likes a sweeter sauce, you might enjoy this if you like it with more bite, but we do not. It was flavorful, but just not our style.

We did like the cheese on top however, the creamy mozzarella was paired well with the taste of sharp cheddar and nutty parmesan. The pie could have used more on top, but maybe they were saving it for the crust. That turned out to be a bad decision. The cheese stuffed into the crust was a fake creamy, it didn't taste real. It had the same consistency of softer dough around it, which didn't crisp up like it should have.
The clincher for us though was the dough. It was the standard, frozen-pizza crust cracker-like flavor.

All in all, on our Pizza Explorers scale from one to eight slicles of perfection, we give it four. We didn't spit it out, but we wouldn't go back for more.

Stay tuned for more adventures from the Pizza Explorers.
